On another note, WE HAVE BOOKED OUR FLIGHTS AND HOTEL TO COME TO VALENCIA!! We are visiting on the 25th November and want to attend the game against sporting gijon on the 27th!

We are really excited about this and cant wait to attend the game. We were hoping some of you on here could help us with a few things...

1) whats the best way to get tickets for the game?
2)where is best to sit in the stadium?
3)we are in valencia for 3 days so what would you advise us to do?

you will get tickets on the day before the game no problem ! every stand is as good as the other there are no posts it just depends if its raining which is rare as the tribuna is the only stand with a roof . there is plenty to do and see and 3 days wont be long enough ! ha

Yes. But, anyways, the valencian underground works quite well. You will be able to visit the whole city with it.

For going out in the night you have a pub-zone near Mestalla (buuuuhh ). Many spanish (and also some not-spanish) students go there to take the drinks and then go to a nightclub (there are some near the zone) or get a taxi (6-8 euros) to another club that isn't so close.

You should also know that in Spain partying is a long process. First we meet at 12 or so, drink until 3-4 and then get to the club until 6 or so. I've known some foreign visitors who were finishing the night when the spanish people were just starting

yea the expo is central but you will need to take a taxi to go out or the metro ! the good areas to go out are el carmen,canovas or blasco ibanez which is the student area i think el carmen is good for you, there are loads of good clubs like pacha or las animas which is in the port or mya which is underneath lumbracle.this mifght help but its in spanish http://www.zonadeclubs.com/. and as roter said dont go out before 11 drinking as it is dead till 12 and the clubs get busy around 3-4 am .

I advise you to visit the town of Cullera which is 30 minutes away by train from the city.
